Les Vents Brûlants is the debut album by the French-based, female trio Ensemble Chakâm, released in spring 2025. The album features a unique blend of classical heritage and modern improvisation, with the trio's instruments—the Persian tar, the Arabic/Turkish qanun, and the bowed viola da gamba—creating a dialogue of melodic strings and vocals. The music is self-composed, interweaving melodic lines and creating a unique soundscape.
