The book presents 12 characterful homes in unique buildings originally intended for some other purpose than living. The book transports readers to converted homes around Finland ranging from a former church to a printing house, mental asylum, school and military school. The charm of the old buildings, cherishing the past and layered stories are an integral part of the homes today. The authors of the book became acquainted while working on a maga-zine feature, going on to capture dozens of lovely homes for various interior magazines throughout the years.
