In this edition the subject has been expanded in line with the increasing emphasis given to radiology in undergraduate dental courses. A new chapter on CT scanning has been included and details of the new DC equipment are included in the chapter on the dental X-ray set. In the chapter on dental panoramic radiography, more examples of possible pitfalls have been added.
