The prize-winning guitar duo Bluvenduo (Sebastian Robles & Zhanxiang Shi) presents a vibrant collection of 19th-century keyboard masterworks reimagined for two guitars. Featuring several premiere transcriptions crafted by the duo themselves, the album draws out the innate songfulness and intimate chamber textures of these Romantic classics.

The program opens with the lyricism of Franz Schubert's Piano Sonata in A Major, followed by the transparent counterpoint and elegance of César Franck's Prélude, fugue et variation. Three contrasting Preludes from Sergei Rachmaninoff's Op. 32 highlight the guitars' range of color and dramatic intensity, while Robert Schumann’s Kinderszenen brings the recital to a close with nuance, childhood wonder, and expressive warmth.
