Moonwalk is Enterprise HSM data management software developed by Moonwalk Inc. The Moonwalk software allows scheduled data copy, move and migration of files. Files to be actioned are can be classified by location, name, size, age, owner and/or attributes. File migration to archival storage is transparent to network users. Users access the migrated files via stub files which remain at the original file location(s). Moonwalk requires an agent installed on each server. Data transfer is managed between these agents. Scheduled jobs are managed by a web interface on a separate computer.
