Adopting both diachronic and synchronic approaches to compare two different Chinese translations, the book is one of the first attempts to conduct a comprehensive lexico-grammatical, logico-semantic and rhetorical, as well as contextual analysis of verbal projection in the Chinese context, especially the classical Chinese language context.
