"M.A. Wardell's stories are sweetness and spice wrapped into a big warm hug." Alice Oseman, author of HEARTSTOPPER

A love story guaranteed to body slam your heart.

Nelson “Savvy” McCallister lives two lives: one as a shy, small-town guy trying to keep his head down, and another as Savvy, the flamboyant wrestler who owns the ring. When the local gym—the place that built his confidence and serves as the heart of his community—faces closure, Nelson will do whatever it takes to save it, even if it means standing up to developers and risking the life he’s worked hard to build.

Enter Drew Evans, a sharp, big-city journalist skeptical of small-town wrestling who stumbles on the story as a way to uncover more about development in small towns. But the longer he spends with Nelson, the harder it is to ignore the sparks flying between them. Soon, Drew is learning that wrestling—and love—aren’t always what they seem.

The Full Nelson is heartfelt, sweet and spicy MM romance from M.A. Wardell, packed with small-town shenanigans, opposites-attract heat, swoony banter, and a love worth stepping into the ring for.
