THE HUNTED HUNTERThe Tasmanian tiger was the largest marsupial predator left and a leftover from the Megafauna era of about 50,000 years ago. Driven to extinction on the mainland of the Australian continent by about 4000 years ago, they tenaciously hung on in Tasmania, and the settlers came in from Europe and within 120 years had driven them to the edge of extinction.This is the story of one man's efforts to preserve this beast of a bygone era, it's a story of the clashes of these men one that wanted to drive them over the edge to extinction, and the other man that understands that they are probably already over that edge and wants to save them.
