It is with joy and gratitude to God that St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Sydney, presents the latest instalment in its ‘Quiet Time’ series. Year after year, there are countless experiences of youth whose lives have been transformed by spending some moments in solitude with God, contemplating on His word.
One of the beautiful things about spending quiet time with the Lord, is that is a dynamic, ever-changing experience. In view of this, the structure of the Quiet Time readings this year has been changed. As opposed to previous years – where there was a daily reading program starting on January 1st – the readings will be organised into one or two week blocks. Each block will revolve around a particular theme, and each reading will be accompanied by a meaningful contemplation.
It is our prayer that once again, these readings may speak directly into our hearts in this coming year. May the Lord provide the exact messages that we need to hear in this coming year, even before we ask Him.
