This is the true story of a young woman’s fight to survive, and try to live as normal a life as possible despite her medical problems. When I met Rita she was a single mother, held a full-time job, and lived as though nothing was wrong in her life. She taught me not to dwell on the problems that we have no control over, but to look forward to the wonderful world that we live in. She was, and always will be ‘The Wind Beneath My Wings’!
