Struggling to deal with the life he left behind, Louis King finds himself in a strange new world hundreds of years into the future. Behind the gilded façade of the magnificent city lies a society of exploitation and deceit. Adjusting to his new life, he must find a way that he fits into his altered existence while trying to grasp the fact that everyone and everything that he left behind is now entirely gone.
