The book is organized in two parts: Part One: comprising 80% of this text, presents, illustrates and compares the major contemporary learning theories. Part Two: provides an opportunity to apply these theories in integrated fashion to a series of short cases that are organized around the following learning outcomes: cognitive strategies, positive attitudes and motivation to learn, retention of verbal information, and intellectual skill.
