This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Conference on Formal Methods in Computer-Aided Design, FMCAD 2000, held in Austin, Texas in November 2000. The 30 revised full papers presented together with two invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from 63 submissions. All current issues of research and development approaches based on formal methods for the design and analysis of systems are addressed.
