Availability of different cheaper sources of organic nutrients offer opportunity for their utilization in the integrated nutrient management programme. Being a newly introduced crop of Jharkhand, there is an urgent need for standardization of integrated nutrient management packages having locally available organic sources integrated with chemical fertilizers. Karanj (Pongamia glabra) cake, an efficient source of organic nutrients, is a commonly available oil cake in the region. Keeping this in view, the research project was conducted.
