Landscape Legacies is a multimedia survey of designed environments, from Prehistoric times to the eighteenth century Picturesque Movement. It traces the evolution of the Western European landscape tradition, including influences on it from other traditions.Nancy Pollock-Ellwand and Susan M. Preston build on the reader's knowledge of landscape history to develop the ability to critically view all historical interpretations of landscape, including the text.
