This book will be divided into two major parts comprising on physical methods and technological applications. of laser processing of materials. The importance and necessity between understanding of physical models and effects of the process will be emphasized in key examples such as laser cladding, free form fabrication or laser surface texturing. In addition, the entire Part II of the book will be dedicated to the description of laser treatment of advanced materials such as superalloys, ceramics, composites, plastics, etc.
