Ashram Stormrider is a warrior monk of Maiden's Haven monastery. Returning to his home within the sanctuary, he seeks a quiet life-one of small duties and no battles. But fate has little regard for peace.

Unsettling rumours surface-whispers of dead men wandering the outskirts of a nearby village. Ash finds himself drawn back into the world he left behind. Alongside his new companions, he follows a trail of dark warnings leading to another monastery high in the mountains, that may be on the brink of collapse.

As their path descends deeper into the darker corners of the world, a memory from Ash's past may be linked to the rising dead and the darkness spreading through the land. To save what remains, Ash must face the truth of what he is... and what he may yet become.
