Old Crow Medicine Show release a new album, Volunteer. The follow-up to their 2014 album Remedy, Volunteer marks the band's sixth studo effort and also coincides with their 20th anniversary.

The band recorded the album at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A with Americana super-producer Dave Cobb, known for his work with artists like Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton. The album is the band's first since 2004 to feature electric guitar, and also enlists the pedal steel talents of Joe Jackson Andrews. Themes explored on the album include the plight of refugees ("A World Away") and the complicated legacy of Southern history ("Look Away").

Remedy won the Best Folk Album Grammy Award in 2015. In 2017, OCMS released 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, a live tribute to Bob Dylan's beloved album Blonde on Blonde.
