"I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired"-Fannie Lou Hamer

This statement was made back in the 60s by a great African American woman, a civil rights activist named Ms. Fannie Lou Hamer who was sick and tired of the inequality and injustice that Black people were suffering during that time in the south. Unfortunately, this statement is still true today when it comes to the violence that we see in our communities-and I must say that I am sick and tired of being tired, seeing our young people constantly falling victim to random shootings within our neighborhoods.
