Medical imaging is an important and indispensable diagnostic tool in the field of medical science which is evolving continuously. They have evolved greatly since the discovery of X rays by Roentgen in 1895, but most of the recent advancements came since the past few decades. One big development which has taken place over the past few years is the development of digital imaging. It is currently an exciting era for medical imaging and radiodiagnosis with these evolutions happening at an exponential phase. These developments are going to open up new insights and understandings to the various complicated disease process which are way beyond our knowledge as of now and will help us as doctors to provide better patient care.
