Author Sally Wester Weismann grew up the third sibling in an ordinary family- until the birth of her little brother, the sixth child, when she was seven years old. Shay was born with a hole in his heart which would require surgery. When she was nine years old, the surgery was performed, and the course of her spiritual life changed forever.
