This work draws on the writings of the church fathers - including Eusebius of Caesarea, Jerome, Cyril of Alexandria and Theodoret of Cyrus. It sheds light on how often the New Testament writers quote Isaiah. Each chapter begins with a modern English translation of the Septuagint. It provides a foundation for understanding the excerpted commentaries and other writings that follow for each chapter.
