The third edition of Disability Discrimination Law, like the first and second editions, is a 6" x 9" 252 page paperback. This book gives an overview of the law under the now repealed Disability Discrimination Act 1995 together with summaries and quotes from the judgments of the principal cases heard by tribunals and courts during the fourteen years that the Act was in force. Many of these judgments will still be relevant under the disability discrimination provisions of the Equality Act 2010 that replaced the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and associated legislation on 01 October 2010. To help readers understand the changes which were made to the disability discrimination provisions after most of them were subsumed into the Equality Act 2010 from the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, including modified and new ones, comparisons are made throughout the book between the relevant provisions of the two Acts and a comparative guide to both sets of provisions is provided too.
