An adaptation of the sequel to John Wyndham's Day of the Triffids. David Masen, son of Bill, wakes up one morning to discover that the world has been mysteriously plunged into perpetual darkness. The sighted inhabitants of the Isle of Wight are now as powerless as the blind and the Triffids are quick to seize the opportunity.
