The Dare Boys was a series of books for young adults set during the American Revolution. It consisted of 12 volumes, written by Stephen Angus Cox (1865- 1944) and originally published between 1910-1912. Titles include: The Dare Boys of 1776, The Dare Boys on the Hudson, The Dare Boys in Trenton, The Dare Boys on the Brandywine, The Dare Boys in the Red City, The Dare Boys After Benedict Arnold, The Dare Boys in Virginia, The Dare Boys and the Swamp Fox and The Dare Boys in Vincennes.
