"Acquiring Clinical Judgment" is a supplement to "Theory and Design in Counseling and Psychotherapy" by Susan Day. It augments the text by:
*helping one to study the chapter content in a condensed form;
*providing case examples with which to practice conceptualization and treatment planning;
*guiding consideration of the interplay among personality, case, and theoretical orientation; and
*teaching one to read--with professional understanding--scholarly articles on counseling and psychotherapy.
The focus in on helping to build the clinical judgment that will assist in therapy and academic pursuits.
