Artist Silvia Gruner paraphrases some of the scenes from the original film, in which two inmates try to communicate their love through a wall that divides their cells. The artist's book, Un chant dA amour, records memories from the film on paper. It is an amorous memento from various film scenes portraying the fleeting nature of passionate love. This perforated book serves also as an object-metaphor of the perforated wall that the lovers communicate through. The book will be edited bilingually in English and Spanish including text by philosopher and art critic Jose Luis Barrios.
