This edition contains the complete original long unavailable 1962 Joe Pass Sounds of Synanon. It presents an unusual instrumental combination with baritone horn and bongos in a program of originals by Pass and other members of the band. As a bonus there is a complete trio session recorded that same year and featuring Pass in a trio format backed by the great Richard ""Groove"" Holmes on organ, and Lawrence Marable on drums.
