Since discovery of X-rays in 1895, radiography as well as dental radiography has made significant advancement. In past decades, through continuous and ongoing research we were able to increase quality of X-ray production, understanding and reducing hazards associated with ionizing radiation and, more importantly, the constant evolution of radiographic image receptors.
