In the late 1930s, a team of archaeologists stumbles upon a hidden school for the study of arcane energy, accidentally releasing an evil sorceress from centuries of imprisonment. It is up to Myrddin Ab Morrfryn, last of the Magi, to thwart her foul plans. With the help of four small, mischievous immortals who possess arcane powers of their own, the great magician embarks upon a quest to recapture his ancient enemy. But when their search leads them to far-off New York City, they must not only figure out how to defeat her, but also find their way in this perplexing new world.
