This annual publication, contains data on the production and trade in forest products for the years 1998-2002. This yearbook reflects the global nature of the business, with an extension of the language coverage to include Arabic and Chinese. The data itself is derived from questionnaires sent to all participating countries, with support from the FAO, ECE, Eurostat and ITTO. The tables of data are arranged in three parts. Part 1: contains information about the most important countries in terms of production, consumption and trade; Part 2: reports on the volume of production, consumption and trade. Part 3: contains tables showing the bilateral directions of trade for the major product categories.
